Yeah, I didn’t know it either, but apparently it does, and that subsidiary recently revealed the Dacia Duster, a production vehicle. It is small but all terrain and will be launched on the markets in Europe, Turkey, and Maghreb.

The concept for this little beauty was initially seen back at the 2009 motor show in Geneva. It is said to be a response to the need, unmet until the launch of the Duster, for an off road vehicle that was both affordable and economical.

As you can see, the Duster does have something rugged about it. Its ground clearance is high, its wheel arches are wide, its grille is imposing, and its body is protected.
